I seek to create photographs that are a feast for the eyes.
In June of 2020, after the first UK lockdown and more than 36 years in the photo industry, I was looking for a new challenge in photography. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do now that I was all grown up. Food photography seemed like a good choice. Besides, not many people get to play with their food and then eat it too!
I have always thought photography was magical. As a child, I preferred being our family photographer. In 1980 I purchased my first 35mm SLR camera, and I have been chasing light since then. I also enjoy helping others improve their photographic skills. I have been teaching photography since 1982. Below are a few testimonials from past students:
“The class with Vincent was great. He is a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and patient instructor. I definitely learnt more with him in 3 hours than I have known about photography for the last 3 years! Many thanks again for the lesson (and thanks to my wonderful girlfriend for buying it for me!)”
Vincent, Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed our sessions over the last six weeks. You have no idea how much you have helped me see things in a different, far more interesting way. The really interesting thing is that I am seeing things with fresh eyes in many other aspects of my life. […]
Dear Vince, Just to say thank you for your presentation which I found most informative and really enjoyable, one of the best I have seen in a very long time. Thank you!
