For the past few months, I have been creating food photos here in the studio. After the first UK lockdown, I wanted to find a new genre I could work on even if there were more lockdowns. I wanted to make sure that I would always have plenty of inspiration for my work.

After a bit of thought, I settled on food photography. After all, everyone has to eat, right?
Grocery stores will always be open, meaning I would have access to a wide variety of things to photograph. Another bonus is that Tetbury has a butcher, cheese shop, two bakeries, greengrocers, plus a CoOP and a Tesco, only a short walk from the studio.
When I started photographing food in June of 2020, this studio under construction, so I started working in our kitchen. The construction was complete a few months later, I was able to move in mid November.
I am currently updating this site. Please bear with me. I hope to have everything finished soon.
Glad to hear you are back in pursuit of making great photos. I love your food series. Happy Holidays, Vincent.
Thanks Richard! I hope 2022 is a happy and prosperous year for you. All the best, Vincent
