Changes

Sunrise at Fish Tail Mountain, Annapurna region of Nepal.

A lot has changed since the last time I wrote a post here. We are now living in the UK, and I have started my Master of Art in Photography. The move was an adventure that anyone who has ever moved more than a few hours drive away much less overseas, can understand. We have settled in nicely so I won’t go into too much about that. The new adventure I have started is what I want to talk about, the MA in Photography.

Getting a Master’s Degree has been something I have been thinking about for quite some time. I hadn’t given it much thought until an email came from the Royal Photographic Society (RPS). It said that Falmouth University has an MA Photography program and if I was interested, as an RPS member I would receive a discount if I took the course. I think the universe and photography were giving me a gentle nudge, letting me know that maybe it was time to get a Master’s Degree. Well, without going into a lot of details about applying, I’ll just say that I got in and the course started Monday, 4 June.

I’m looking forward to the next two years, and I hope you will join me on this new adventure so let’s jump right in!
